The Incredible Chicken Plan

What is the chicken plan?

The chicken plan is my plan to give a chicken to each person in America. My plan will encourage economic growth, solve the egg shortage, and give happiness to the people of america.

What is the base idea for this project.

As all of us in America are aware, there is currently an egg shortage. But, what if each american produced their own eggs? The idea is that each american (including children) will have their own personal chicken. Over time, this will increase the profit for chicken breeders, since that is where the government will get the chickens, and decrease the consumption of chemically treated eggs.

Ok, but what if I don't have a place to house a chicken?

My plan is for each apartment complex, hotel, and town, to have a public chicken coop. Of course, there would be a $20 dollar monthly fee for housing and food, but it is a great idea if your neighborhood or apartment complex doesn't allow barnyard animals, or animals in general. Each community coop would also have one rooster to allow for reproduction.

Ok, but I can't pay for chicken feed.

In this unfortunate situation, you would have 2 options, feed the chicken scraps, or file a government application to give up the chicken. (More on that below). You could also skin the chicken and eat or sell its meat. After all, Its YOUR chicken

What if I don't even want a chicken

That's 100% ok! If you don't want a chicken you would be able to file a document online in order to keep a chicken from being delivered to your house. If the chicken has already arrived, you may sell it or fill out a separate document to have it sent to a new house.

WHERE ARE YOU GETTING ALL OF THESE CHICKENS?????

Since only female chickens lay eggs, this initiative could only be carried out with female chickens. According to poultryperformanceplus.com about 50% of chickens are female. this means that since there are over 518.3 million chickens in America,there are about 259,150,000 female chickens in America. We will purchase the chickens from different places for approximatley 3-30 dollars a piece. This will add up to a grand total of $4,978,500,000. As for the chickens themselves, as I mentioned earlier, they will come from a variety of places including,(but not limited to), private chicken breeders, mass chicken farms (such as the McMurray Hatchery and Tractor Supply), and small farms.

Where will the money come from?

Since this would likely be a government project, some of the money would come from taxes but I would also like to try to get private investors on board as well.
